Mike Roy, a participant within The First Tee of Greater Chicago, has been selected to attend The First Tee Life Skills and Leadership Academy in San Diego, Calif. July 24-30. Roy will join more than 90 participants of The First Tee, ages 13-17, to participate in this national event.

The Illinois PGA Foundation and The First Tee of Greater Chicago are teaming up with United Scrap Metal on a pilot program to recycle 10,000 old golf clubs in 2013 while providing new clubs to First Tee kids.

We are pleased to announce The First Tee Greater Chicago Golf Academy. This inaugural golf camp will be conducted in partnership with the Indiana Golf Foundation at the Gongaware Junior Golf Academy located in Franklin, Indiana. Taking place the week of July 7 – 10th, the camp will host up to 24 attendees and will be a wonderful opportunity for our chapter participants who have a desire to focus on further developing their golf skills and playing knowledge.
